A "must have" for the recent graduateReviewed by Bryan, 2008-12-14
What They Don't Teach You in College is a Must Have for any college
graduate. It's a shame that personal finance is not a required
course in High School or College, every year thousands of students
graduate and head out into the real world with little or no
knowledge of what to do next.
This book is is a great handbook to have, it walks you through
getting your first job, understanding contracts, managing finances,
buying a car, renting/buying a home, insurance, etc. It basically
covers everything you need to know from age 18 to 30.
If you want the student in your life to hit the ground running this
is the perfect gift for them.
I Wish Someone Would Have Given ME This Book!Reviewed by Kevin Malone, 2006-12-13
What a great book! When I first started out on my own, I wish
someone would have given me a book like this one.
It would have saved me a lot of headaches and trouble if I could
have had the advice and useful tips in this book, at a time when I
needed it most.
I hope the college graduate I bought this book for, finds it
helpful and useful.
